RIMMEL'S FANTASTIC NEW GLAM EYES QUAD EYE SHADOW !!!!

I have just received my new Glam Eyes Quad  Eye Shadow in 'State of Grace' which specifically compliments brown eyes. I absolutely love this vibrant eye shadow quad , it certainly helps beat the  winter blues.  I love the fact you can play about with the different colours, creating different looks for different occasions. My first experiment with these fabulous new eye shadows was using the silvery/ grey colour as my base , with the light blue being swept over my eye lids and the purple and blue lining my eyelashes (A fine line of each) ...Oh and a slither of black eye-liner to make my eyes look even more dramatic.I am going to try out a few looks and aim to post them on my blog for you to check.
The eye shadows applies beautifully thanks to the aid of their powder silken formula , which help the colours blend easily and helps the bold colours stay bold all day long.  Most of all they really cheered me up and made my make up collection suddenly look a little bit more interesting.

The eye shadows are available in 49 fabulous colours , so it make take you a while to decide which of the colours you want to try ....I personally will be in Superdrug for quite a while on Saturday whilst I decide on which colours to try next.

RIMMEL'S LASTING FINISH 25 HOUR FOUNDATION

Yet another of Rimmels fantastic new product lauches , The ‘Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation’

A lasting finish foundation that endures daily stresses such as , sweating , humidity …..and late nights ,allowing your foundation to ‘last as long as you do’

When I first picked up my new bottle of foundation I was apprehensive as to whether a foundation that was priced at less than a tenner  would really last throughout the day maintaining that fresh , first application appearance. I however was hopeful that this would work because for me , I like my skin makeup to look fresh and radiant , and not too overloaded.

I tried the new foundation in True Ivory (103)  and It blended extremely well into my skin , matching my neck perfectly. It felt smooth and almost silky when I applied it to my skin , and as the day progressed there was no sign of ‘makeup fatigue’  .

I was satisfied that it offered me enough coverage to cover any small blemishes or imperfections that I wanted to hide. I would say however that I did still need to use a small amount of concealer.

 In my opinion this product is more for women out there that want to achieve a fresh and natural look , that does not look to intense .  The added bonus with this product is that It offers a 25 hour lasting finish so that much desired natural look can be maintained.

                    This innovating new foundation also contains moisturizing Aqua primer which enables the skin to remain hydrated throughout the day .

          Prior to using this foundation I was using an Elizabeth Arden foundation ,which suited my skin tone also , and offered me a fresh and natural look which I desired . The difference between this product and Rimmel’s new foundation is that It cost considerably more and in all honesty the Rimmel foundation pipped the Elizabeth Arden product into my beauty book of fame.
