Yet another of Rimmels fantastic new product lauches , The ‘Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation’
A lasting finish foundation that endures daily stresses such as , sweating , humidity …..and late nights ,allowing your foundation to ‘last as long as you do’
When I first picked up my new bottle of foundation I was apprehensive as to whether a foundation that was priced at less than a tenner would really last throughout the day maintaining that fresh , first application appearance. I however was hopeful that this would work because for me , I like my skin makeup to look fresh and radiant , and not too overloaded.
I tried the new foundation in True Ivory (103) and It blended extremely well into my skin , matching my neck perfectly. It felt smooth and almost silky when I applied it to my skin , and as the day progressed there was no sign of ‘makeup fatigue’ .
I was satisfied that it offered me enough coverage to cover any small blemishes or imperfections that I wanted to hide. I would say however that I did still need to use a small amount of concealer.
In my opinion this product is more for women out there that want to achieve a fresh and natural look , that does not look to intense . The added bonus with this product is that It offers a 25 hour lasting finish so that much desired natural look can be maintained.
This innovating new foundation also contains moisturizing Aqua primer which enables the skin to remain hydrated throughout the day .
Prior to using this foundation I was using an Elizabeth Arden foundation ,which suited my skin tone also , and offered me a fresh and natural look which I desired . The difference between this product and Rimmel’s new foundation is that It cost considerably more and in all honesty the Rimmel foundation pipped the Elizabeth Arden product into my beauty book of fame.

Excellent review, thank you! I bought this in 200 Soft Beige, the colour looked perfect when I first put it on this morning, then I got in to work this morning, with noticeably darker face, so it looks like I would need something lighter, I may try the 103 True Ivory, is that on a more yellowish or more pinky side?
ReplyDeleteI have been using the foundation called ‘Lasting Finish 25 hour foundation’ by Rimmel. It is great. I have been using the colour called ‘Classic Beige’ and its really good.
ReplyDeleteIt gives me lightweight coverage and its really smooth when I apply it. I have to admit – it does last upto 25 hours a day and importantly it doesn’t transfer on my clothes. It is Transfer proofs and the foundation does not leave my skin dry or flaky. I recommend this new foundation highly to you all.

ReplyDeleteIt is a really good foundation ...And believe me Im a fussy when it comes to make up . I have tried so many different foundations and have been very dissapointed with the majority of them.
Diana, True Ivory is more yellowish in its tone and Its noticeably lighter than soft biege so I would definitely recommend that you give this a go. It blends perfectly into my skin and as you can see from my picture I am quite pale .
